All the other windows have already gone dark, but there was still faint light glowing into the night from one of them. It could have been 3, maybe 4 hours after midnight, but the person inside just couldn't sleep yet. His gaze was locked onto a computer screen, his ears covered by headphones, a burnt-out spliff roach hanging on the edge of his lip. You could hear his empty stomach rumbling in the silence and see his eyes already falling from fatigue, but it wasn't time to go to bed (or leave the screen at all) yet. Not until he gets this beat sounding just right!
