As they were lying on the bed beside each other, she couldn't help herself not to think what is going on. He seemed just so distant lately... Gone were his big smiles and ever-present jokes, instead he was just lying there with an indifferent look on his face, staring blankly at the ceiling. Suddenly, the question came out of her mouth like a bolt of lightning out of the blue sky. "What is it, Chris?" She looked at him, but he kept staring at the ceiling like he didn't even hear her.
"I love you so much", she added with a soft voice. "Don't you love me anymore?"
