Opal Tapes is a well known and respected label on the lofi scene, but don't expect any generic sounding lofi hiphop tunes this time. Opal Tapes is all about experimental music. A lot of their catalogue consists of all shapes of ambient, but there is also a lot of dark, noisy stuff that's hard to somewhat categorize and sometimes even hard to swallow. No, Opal Tapes is not a label for a casual listener.
