Art Installation: Elapsed Places

Elapsed Places is a dissertation work of Kristýna Drápalová in form of combined audiovisual installation. It's combination of paintings depicting a silent, grim city, and  almost psychedelic video overlay playing subtle mindtricks over the painting, changing the installation's atmosphere drastically. If you're into post-apo, this piece is just for you! 

Music for this project was created literally in one evening. Kristýna contacted me because the guy who was originally supposed to work on the music unfortunately could not make it. The deadline was already deadly close and I was skeptical as I hate doing creative work under pressure. I was right about to decline her request, but just before writing down that unpleasant response, I opened my DAW to just try make a few sounds - and three hours later the soundtrack was done!
